Pero no todo el mundo piensa como Oliver Schwab y Bj\u00f6rn F\u00f6rster. A finales de diciembre de 2023, a unos 170 kil\u00f3metros al norte del C\u00edrculo Polar \u00c1rtico, en Levi (Finlandia), estas dos figuras clave detr\u00e1s del programa de desarrollo del Porsche GT4 e-Performance supervisaron un evento medi\u00e1tico inusual e inolvidable que constituir\u00eda otra misi\u00f3n de investigaci\u00f3n vital para la futura visi\u00f3n de Porsche sobre las carreras de clientes.<\/p>\n<p>Durante los \u00faltimos 18 meses, el concepto de coche de carreras totalmente el\u00e9ctrico ha estado de gira por todo el mundo, un proyecto gestionado por Schwab, que comenz\u00f3 en el Festival de Velocidad de Goodwood en el verano de 2022 antes de viajar por Europa, Estados Unidos y Asia. Y antes de su llegada a Australia el pr\u00f3ximo mes de marzo, a tiempo para una exhibici\u00f3n en la tercera ronda de la \u00faltima temporada del Gran Premio de F\u00f3rmula Uno, el coche se desvi\u00f3 a las heladas tierras salvajes del norte de Finlandia para realizar algunas pruebas extremas en climas g\u00e9lidos.<\/p>\n<p>Esto tuvo lugar en la sede de la Porsche Ice Experience. El Porsche Driving Area ocupa una superficie total de 422.000 metros cuadrados y ofrece \u00f3ptimas oportunidades de formaci\u00f3n en dos \u00e1reas de entrenamiento con una variedad de treinta y dos pistas de manejo diferentes. La toma de aire central se sell\u00f3 debido a las bajas temperaturas exteriores y el chasis se equip\u00f3 con una protecci\u00f3n de aluminio en los bajos. Por lo dem\u00e1s, el GT4 e-Performance no necesit\u00f3 m\u00e1s modificaciones, ya que montaba el mismo innovador sistema de propulsi\u00f3n EV refrigerado por aceite, capaz de desarrollar 800 kW o 1.088 CV en la versi\u00f3n de clasificaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta ahora, cada parada de la gira GT4 e-Performance ha brindado al equipo nuevas oportunidades de adquirir experiencia tanto sobre el coche como sobre la visi\u00f3n m\u00e1s amplia del automovilismo electrificado. En Levi, se invit\u00f3 a un selecto grupo de periodistas internacionales del motor a explorar las capacidades din\u00e1micas del coche y sus l\u00edmites de adherencia en un circuito de hielo construido a tal efecto. Junto al ganador de Le Mans y piloto oficial de Porsche Richard Lietz, parte integrante del equipo de desarrollo del GT4 e-Performance, el grupo pudo aprovechar r\u00e1pidamente la combinaci\u00f3n de par motor instant\u00e1neo y tracci\u00f3n a las cuatro ruedas, derrapando a toda velocidad por el estrecho y t\u00e9cnico trazado.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\"Permitir que los periodistas condujeran el coche nos permiti\u00f3 entablar un di\u00e1logo con ellos, conocer sus expectativas y sus reacciones emocionales ante el veh\u00edculo\", explica Schwab. \"El plan de desarrollo no se centraba s\u00f3lo en las prestaciones, sino tambi\u00e9n en la usabilidad comercial, y eventos como \u00e9ste nos ofrecen una valiosa oportunidad de obtener m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n y conocimiento del mercado. En Finlandia, por supuesto, todo giraba en torno a las bajas temperaturas, de hasta 20 bajo cero durante el d\u00eda en esa \u00e9poca del a\u00f1o. Pero, por incre\u00edble que parezca, no tuvimos ning\u00fan problema. Incluso la carga r\u00e1pida con m\u00e1s de 200 kW funcion\u00f3, all\u00ed mismo, en un lago helado\".<\/p>\n<p>El coche no s\u00f3lo pod\u00eda recargarse a plena capacidad en 20 minutos en esas condiciones, sino que su exclusivo sistema de refrigeraci\u00f3n del aceite tambi\u00e9n le permit\u00eda regular perfectamente la temperatura de funcionamiento del tren motriz, manteniendo un nivel \u00f3ptimo de 45 grados cent\u00edgrados para obtener el mejor rendimiento posible. Para la etapa de Levi de la gira, F\u00f6rster y su equipo tambi\u00e9n equiparon el coche con una funci\u00f3n experimental para mejorar la capacidad del coche para derrapar, enviando toda la potencia a las ruedas traseras cuando se pisaban simult\u00e1neamente los pedales del freno y del acelerador.
