Als je op 18 oktober in de buurt van Charlotte bent, kun je leren wat je moet weten over het groeiende gebied van racen met elektrische voertuigen en de feiten over de unieke veiligheidsuitdagingen.<\/p>\n

Tijdens dit eendaagse evenement in het Charlotte Snelweg<\/a> hoort u experts op het gebied van elektrische raceseries en onderzoek naar lithium-ionbatterijen: van IMSA<\/a>, Williams Geavanceerde Techniek<\/a>en de William States Lee College of Engineering van de Universiteit van North Carolina in Charlotte.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"We ontdekten de groeiende interesse in de veiligheid van EV-races toen Eric Huhn van UNC Charlotte sprak op ons veiligheidsseminar Racing Goes Safer tijdens de Acura Grand Prix van Long Beach in april\", zegt Yves Morizot, voorzitter van de Stand 21 Foundation. \"We zien dat circuits, bevoegde instanties en coureurs nu te maken krijgen met onbekende veiligheidskwesties nu er steeds meer elektrische voertuigen aan races deelnemen. We zijn er trots op dat we Eric en UNC Charlotte kunnen helpen bij het organiseren van het EVRSafe-evenement.\"<\/p>\n
