Som en viktig utveckling inför säsong 10 har Formel E introducerat Manufacturers' Trophy, ett nytt pris som uppmärksammar den ledande tillverkaren i ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Trofén, som kommer att delas ut för första gången i slutet av säsongen 2023/24, markerar ett nytt konkurrenselement i mästerskapet.
Formel E har en av de mest imponerande och konkurrenskraftiga tillverkaruppställningarna inom motorsport. Mästerskapet har sex tillverkare (Electric Racing Technologies, Jaguar, Mahindra Racing, Nissan, Porsche och STELLANTIS) som driver 11 team, vilket understryker bredden i fältet.
The scoring for this trophy mirrors that of the Teams Championship, with points awarded based on the performance of each manufacturer’s two highest-scoring cars in every race (1st place: 25 points; 2nd place: 18 points; 3rd place: 15 points etc.). Points for Pole Position and Fastest Lap are also factored into the totals.
En unik trofé kommer att delas ut till den vinnande tillverkaren i slutet av säsongen, under Formel E:s prisutdelningsceremoni. Dessutom kommer vinnaren att få en Winner's Badge som kan visas på hjälmar, bilar och teamkläder under den efterföljande säsongen.

Detta initiativ lovar ökad synlighet för tillverkarna och utnyttjar Formel E:s digitala plattformar och sändningsplattformar för rikare storytelling. New leaderboards are also set to debut, highlighting the competitive strides of manufacturers throughout the season and adding a new layer to the Championship narrative. Complementing these advancements, updates to each team’s profile on the Formula E website will include their manufacturer and branded car name, ensuring fans receive a thorough understanding of the exciting competition.

I säsong 9 tävlade team som levererades av Jaguar och Porsche hårt från det första E-Prixet till det sista, med Jake Dennis från Andretti Formula E som vann ABB FIA Formula E Drivers' World Championship i en Porsche 99X Electric GEN3, och Jaguars kundteam Envision Racing som vann ABB FIA Formula E Teams' World Championship i en Jaguar I-Type 6.
Among the 11 teams, 22 drivers and 6 manufacturers, the competition in Formula E is nothing short of intense. The first three rounds of Season 10 already delivering a thrilling mix of victors. A total of seven drivers have celebrated on the podium, showcasing the diversity and depth of talent in the field. The top 10 of the Drivers’ Standings boast representatives from an impressive eight different teams, highlighting the fierce and unpredictable nature of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
